IND vs SA: Virat Kohli can play in Cape Town Test!
The third and final Test match between India and South Africa will be played in Cape Town from Tuesday. There is every possibility of Indian captain Virat Kohli making a comeback in this match. Kohli has indicated this by doing batting practice on Sunday.
Kohli could not play in the second Test due to stiffness in his upper back. Team India had to face defeat in this match. Head coach Rahul Dravid has also expressed hope of Virat Kohli's return in the third Test.
With the return of Virat Kohli in the final Test, Hanuma Vihari may have to be dropped from the playing XI. On the other hand, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara can remain in the playing XI. The duo re-stamped their claim to seal their place in the playing XI for the final match by scoring half-centuries in the second innings of the Johannesburg Test.
Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj's play in the third Test is doubtful. He got injured during the second test match. Now in his place, either Ishant Sharma or Umesh Yadav can be given a chance in the third match.
