IND vs SA: Suryakumar Yadav broke this record of Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Even though the Indian team had to face defeat by 5 wickets against South Africa in the second T20, in this match, Indian acting captain Suryakumar Yadav registered a big record in his name by playing a half-century innings.
In this match, Surya played an inning of 56 runs in 36 balls. On the basis of this inning, he has broken the record of former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He has now become the cricketer to play the biggest innings for India in South Africa as captain of T-20 International.
Earlier, under his captaincy, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had played an inning of 45 runs in the T-20 International 2007 in South Africa. Surya has now become the first Indian cricketer to score a half-century in T20 cricket as captain in this country. Surya faced only 36 balls in his innings and hit five fours and three sixes.
