IND vs NZ: India scored 345 runs in the first innings of the Kanpur Test!
Due to the brilliant innings of Shreyas Iyer (105), Samali batsman Shubman Gill (52), and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (50), playing the debut match, the Indian team was all out for 345 runs on the second day of the first test match being played in Kanpur against New Zealand.
For the Kiwis, Tim Southee took the most five wickets. Kyle Jamieson managed to take three and Ajaz Patel got two wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin also contributed 38 runs for India.
In this innings, Shreyas Iyer registered many achievements in his name by scoring a century. He has become the 16th Indian player to score a century in Test cricket debut for India. Shreyas Iyer hit 13 fours and 2 sixes in 171 balls in his innings. With this, he has become the third Indian player to score a century in Test debut against the Kiwi team.
