IND vs NZ: India captured the T20 series, Harshal Patel achieved this big achievement


After Harshal Patel's killer bowling, opener Lokesh Rahul (65) and captain Rohit Sharma (55) stunned India to beat New Zealand by seven wickets in the second T20I to go 2-0 up in the three-match series. 


Playing first, the Kiwi team could only score 153 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. In reply, India won the match and the series by making 155 for three in 17.2 overs. Fast bowler Harshal Patel took two wickets for 25 runs in his debut match. For this performance, he was awarded the man of the match. He has become the third bowler to receive the Player of the Match award in his debut match.


Earlier two Indian cricketers (Balbinder Saran and Navdeep Saini) have managed to achieve this feat in their first T20 match. For India, KL Rahul played a half-century innings of 65 runs in 49 balls. He hit six fours and two sixes in this innings. While captain Rohit Sharma scored 55 runs in 36 balls. In this innings, he hit one four, and five sixes. Captain Tim Southee took three wickets for 16 runs for the Kiwis.
