Shubman Gill scored a century in the Test match played in Dharamsala against England. The Indian batsman completed his century with the help of 10 fours and 5 sixes in 137 balls. While England looked disappointed with Gill's century, his father, who had come to Dharamsala to watch the fifth Test between India and England, was not holding back his joy.


As Gill completed his century, his father, sitting in the stands, stood up and raised both his hands in celebration. Gill's father's reaction is going viral on social media. Obviously, this is a very proud moment for any father. Although Gill's father had a slight smile on his face, he was quite happy inside.


This was Shubman Gill's second century in the current series against England. Before this, Gill played an innings of 104 runs in the second Test played in Visakhapatnam. After this, Gill performed well in the Rajkot Test, but he fell victim to the nervous Nineties (91). In the fourth Test played in Ranchi, Gill played important innings of 38 and 52* runs.
