England bowler James Anderson will have a chance to make a world record in the final match of the five-match Test series against India starting today. By taking two wickets in this match that started in Dharamshala, he will become the first fast bowler in the world to take seven hundred wickets in Test cricket.

James Anderson has so far taken 698 wickets in 347 Test innings. Till date no fast bowler has been able to take more than seven hundred wickets in Test cricket. The record of taking most wickets in Test cricket is held in the name of former Sri Lankan spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan. Who has taken maximum 800 wickets in his name in 133 matches.

Whereas former Australian spin bowler Shane Warne is at second place in this list after taking 708 wickets in 145 matches. Anderson will have to take 11 wickets in the match to break Shane Warne's record.
