IND vs AUS: Will this player be out of the Adelaide Test after Perth? Team India is in trouble before the Pink Ball Test
Before the second Test match, bad news came out for the Indian team. According to media reports, it is difficult for Shubman Gill to play in the Pink Ball Test starting on December 6. After Perth, he may also be out of the Adelaide Test. He also missed the Perth Test due to a thumb injury. A day earlier, the BCCI had shared a video of him, in which he was seen batting in the nets. Seeing this, it was expected that he would again bat at number 3 for Team India. But if the report is to be believed, these hopes may now be dashed.
Gill will not be able to fit in time.
Times of India has quoted BCCI sources as saying that Shubman Gill may be participating in practice sessions before the Pink Ball Test. But he is not fully fit and there is little hope of his recovery on time. BCCI sources have revealed that after the thumb injury, the medical expert had advised him to rest for two weeks.

However, he is sure to play in the third Test. Former Team India and Mumbai selector Jatin Paranjape said that this type of injury usually takes 2-4 weeks to heal.
The assistant coach gave an update
Team India assistant coach Abhishek Nair has also given an update on Shubman Gill's injury. He has said that the physio will examine Gill's injury and batting. He was batting quite comfortably in the nets but any decision will be taken only after complete analysis.
