If Virat Kohli manages to score only 49 runs in this series, then he will leave behind former Australia captain Ricky Ponting in terms of scoring the most ODI runs at home. He has scored 5406 runs at his home. While Virat Kohli has scored 5358 runs in India. Sachin Tendulkar has scored a maximum of 6976 runs.

If he manages to score 191 runs in the series, he should complete his 13,000 runs in the ODI format. So far Sachin, Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, and Jayasuriya have achieved this feat.
