IND VS AUS: Bumrah-Akashdeep avoided follow-on, Virat-Gambhir celebrated like this in Gabba
In the Gaba Test, Team India gave a big blow to Australia on the fourth day and avoided the follow-on. After the excellent half-century innings of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, Bumrah and Akashdeep saved Team India from follow-on by making an unbeaten partnership of 39 runs for the last wicket. Team India was facing the threat of follow-on after 13 years. In 2011, England gave a follow-on to the Indian team but Akashdeep and Bumrah avoided the follow-on by taking Team India to a score of 245 runs.
Gambhir-Virat celebrated
As soon as Akashdeep hit a four-off Australian captain Pat Cummins' ball in the last over of the fourth day and the team's score reached 245 runs, a wave of happiness spread in the Indian dressing room. Virat Kohli started celebrating with great enthusiasm. Head coach Gautam Gambhir also looked very happy and he clapped a lot. After this, Akashdeep also hit a long six off Pat Cummins' ball and then Virat Kohli's happiness was worth seeing.

Like the Adelaide Test, the Indian team's batting failed miserably in Gabba too. Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring just 4 runs. Gill scored just one run. Virat Kohli contributed 3 runs. Pant scored 9 runs. Rohit Sharma's bad phase is not coming to an end and the captain could score only 10 runs. Nitish Reddy was also able to contribute 16 runs.
Only KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja saved Team India's honour. Rahul batted brilliantly and scored 84 runs in 139 balls. Ravindra Jadeja scored 77 runs in 123 balls. These two batsmen somehow made a partnership of 67 runs in 115 balls and took Team India's score beyond 200.
