India Masters, led by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, secured a dominant victory over Australia Masters in the first semi-final of the International Masters League (IML) 2025. The match, held in Raipur on March 13, was a one-sided affair as India outplayed Australia in all departments.

Batting first, India Masters posted a massive total of 220/7 in 20 overs. In response, Australia Masters crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for just 126 in 18.1 overs. With this commanding 94-run victory, Sachin’s team has booked its place in the final, where they will battle for the championship on March 16 at the same venue.

Shahbaz Nadeem – The Star Performer

The standout performer of the match was Shahbaz Nadeem, who delivered a match-winning bowling spell. After early breakthroughs from Vinay Kumar, Nadeem tore through Australia’s middle order, taking 4 wickets for just 15 runs in his 4-over spell. His economy rate of just 3.8 made him nearly unplayable. For his brilliant performance, he was rightfully named Player of the Match.

Other Indian bowlers also made significant contributions—Vinay Kumar and Irfan Pathan picked up 2 wickets each, while Stuart Binny and Pawan Negi chipped in with a wicket each to wrap up Australia’s innings.

Sachin, Yuvraj Lead India's Batting Charge

Before the bowling heroics, India Masters' batting lineup put on a spectacular show. Despite losing Ambati Rayudu early, Sachin Tendulkar anchored the innings with a fluent 42 off 30 balls, hitting 7 boundaries.

The real fireworks came from Yuvraj Singh, who smashed 59 runs off just 30 balls at a blistering strike rate of 196. His knock included 7 sixes and just 1 four, showcasing his trademark power-hitting.

Stuart Binny (36 off 21 balls), Yusuf Pathan (23 off 10 balls), and Irfan Pathan (19 off 7 balls) provided the finishing touches, propelling India Masters to a formidable 220/7 in 20 overs.

Australia Masters Struggle Under Pressure

Chasing a daunting target of 221, Australia Masters never found their rhythm. Their innings began on a disastrous note, losing early wickets to Vinay Kumar’s fiery spell. The middle order collapsed under Nadeem’s spin attack, and no batsman could make a significant impact.

With wickets tumbling at regular intervals, Australia was bowled out for just 126 in 18.1 overs, handing India Masters a massive 94-run win.

The Final Showdown Awaits

With this emphatic victory, India Masters have stormed into the final, where they will compete for the IML 2025 title on March 16. Fans can expect an electrifying contest as Sachin’s team aims to lift the trophy in Raipur!
