ICC ODI World Cup: Virat Kohli can now break this world record of Sachin!

The first semi-final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will be played between India and New Zealand on Wednesday. In this match, former Indian captain Virat Kohli will have a chance to break the world record of great batsman Sachin Tendulkar. If Virat Kohli is successful in playing an inning of 80 runs in this match, he will become the highest run-scorer in a World Cup. 

 Sachin Tendulkar had scored the highest score of 673 runs while playing 11 matches in 2023. He had scored one century and six half-centuries during this period. Whereas Virat Kohli has scored 594 runs in nine matches of the current World Cup. He is the highest run scoring batsman in this World Cup.

In this World Cup being played in India, Virat Kohli has scored two centuries and five half-centuries. Now he will have a chance to break Sachin's record. Virat Kohli's biggest innings in this World Cup has been 103 runs unbeaten.
