The Indian team has entered the final of the ICC ODI World Cup by defeating New Zealand by 70 runs on Wednesday. In this match, former Team India captain Virat Kohli registered many records in his name by playing a century inning of 117 runs.

This is Virat Kohli's fiftieth century in the ODI World Cup. He has broken the world record of former great batsman Sachin Tendulkar for scoring most centuries in ODIs. Sachin has 50 centuries in his name in ODI.

With this, Virat Kohli has become the second batsman to score 50 centuries in one format of cricket. Sachin has achieved this feat in Test format. He has scored 51 centuries in Test cricket. India's star cricketer Virat Kohli has scored 50 centuries in ODIs and 29 centuries in Tests. Whereas he has also scored a century in T-20 International. He has scored 80 centuries in international cricket.
