ICC ODI World Cup: Rohit Sharma becomes the sixer king of international cricket, leaving Chris Gayle behind.

The world record for hitting most sixes in international cricket has now been registered in the name of Indian captain Rohit Sharma. Indian opener Rohit Sharma registered this big achievement in his name in the match played against Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup on Wednesday.

In this matter, he broke the record of former great West Indies batsman Chris Gayle. In this match, Rohit Sharma hit five sixes during his innings of 131 runs played in 84 balls. He made the record of hitting the most number of sixes in international cricket by hitting an 85 meter long six in the match.

Earlier this world record was in the name of Chris Gayle, who had hit 553 sixes in 483 matches (Test, ODI and T20 International). Rohit Sharma has registered this record in his name in his 453rd innings. Rohit Sharma has scored the 31st century of his ODI career.
