ICC ODI World Cup: Rohit broke Kapil Dev's record of 40 years

Earlier, the record of scoring a century in the fewest balls among Indians in the World Cup was in the name of former captain Kapil Dev, who scored a century in 72 balls during a stormy innings of 175 runs against Zimbabwe in 1983. Now the record of scoring the fastest century has been registered in the name of Rohit. On the basis of this innings of Rohit, India won this match by eight wickets.
