After the brilliant performance of the bowlers, New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka in the ICC ODI World Cup on Thursday on the basis of a brilliant innings by Rachin Ravindra (42 runs). 

On the basis of this innings, Ravindra has registered a big achievement in his name. Ravindra has now come first in the list of batsmen who have scored the most runs in this World Cup. In this matter, he has left behind South African opener Quinton de Kock and former Indian captain Virat Kohli.

Rachin Ravindra now has the highest score of 565 runs in nine innings of nine matches of this World Cup. His West score was 123 runs not out. Whereas South Africa's Quinton De Kock has scored 550 runs in 8 matches. Virat Kohli has scored 543 runs in 8 innings of 8 matches. Virat Kohli has also scored two centuries in this World Cup.
