In this match, Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc registered a big world record. Mitchell Starc dismissed Indian batsman Ishan Kishan (0) and completed his fifty wickets in the World Cup. With this, Starc became the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in the World Cup.
He registered the record of taking the fastest 50 wickets in the 19th innings. Earlier, this record was held in the name of former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga, who had taken 50 wickets in 25 innings in the World Cup. Mitchell Starc also took the maximum of 27 wickets in the last World Cup.
