ICC ODI World Cup: Mitchell Santner achieved this big achievement

Mitchell Santner has also registered a big achievement in his name in the match played against Sri Lanka. He has equaled the record of taking most wickets by a New Zealand spinner in a single edition of the ODI World Cup. In this matter he has equaled the record of Daniel Vettori.

Santner took the wickets of Angelo Mathews and Dhananjay de Silva in the match. With this he has taken 16 wickets in this World Cup. Earlier, former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori had taken 16 wickets in the 2007 World Cup played in the Caribbean Islands.
