Glenn Maxwell has registered many historical records in his name in this World Cup. He has scored the fastest century in World Cup history in this tournament. Maxwell scored a century in 40 balls in the match against Netherlands in the league stage.

In this matter, he broke the record of Aiden Markram of South Africa. Markram also scored a record breaking century in 49 balls against Sri Lanka in the same season. 

In the same World Cup, Maxwell scored a double century of 201 runs in 128 balls while chasing the target of 292 runs in the league match against Afghanistan. 

He made the world record of double century while chasing the target in One Day International cricket. In this matter, he had broken the record of Pakistan's Fakhar Zaman, who had scored 193 runs against South Africa in 2021.
