The luck of India's young wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan may shine. According to reports, Indian team's star opener Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the World Cup final due to injury.

In place of Gill, Ishan Kishan can now get a place in the Indian playing eleven for the final match to be played against Australia on Sunday. This match will be played on 19 November at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. Gill has been ruled out of the final match due to drug strain in the semi-final match played between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium.

According to reports, no risk will be taken as Shubhman Gill's drug addiction is very serious. For this reason, Ishan Kishan may get a chance to open with captain Rohit Sharma in the final match. However, till now no official response has been received regarding Gill's ouster.
