Harleen Deol suffered a knee injury while fielding for Gujarat Giants in the Women's Premier League in March this year. At that time, it was difficult for her to even get up from the bed, let alone walk. Therefore, she could not even take a bottle of water by herself. Then her mother became her support during this time. She used to help in everything and did not even get upset. This made Harleen mentally very strong. Then slowly she started recovering. She started enjoying every day and now she is on the field.

Harleen used to cry in the hospital
Harleen Deol's friend revealed that after the tests, it was found that she had an ACL or anterior cruciate ligament injury. Therefore, she had to undergo surgery in Mumbai. Then Jemima went to meet her. For rehab, she was asked to just straighten her leg. But she was unable to do so and would cry. After those struggles, Harleen has now made a great comeback.
Harleen Deol returned to Australia tour after injury on 5 December. There she played innings of 12, 19 and 39 runs. Then she scored 44 runs in the series against West Indies and on Tuesday 24 December, she scored the first century of her ODI career against West Indies. Harleen played an innings of 115 runs in 103 balls. She has scored 159 runs in this series at an average of 79.50 and a strike rate of 103.92.
