BCCI imposed ban on Hardik Pandya

Team India's all-rounder Hardik Pandya is a topic of discussion these days. Let us tell you, BCCI has banned Pandya for one match. This ban has been imposed on Pandya for the first match of IPL 2025. That is, Hardik Pandya, who plays for Mumbai Indians, will not be seen playing in the first match against Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.

Mumbai team had retained Pandya for Rs 16.35 crore. But Pandya has suffered a big blow due to the ban in the very first match.

Banned because of this

As per the IPL rules, if a team is found guilty of slow-over rate in three matches in a season, then the captains of that team have to face a fine as well as a ban of one match as punishment. Due to this, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant also had to face a ban of one match last season.

Talking about Hardik Pandya, under his captaincy, MI team could not bowl the overs in regular time in the last match of the group stage last season. Due to which he was banned and due to this he will not be able to participate in the first match of IPL 2025.
