For this, the entire team has reached Sri Lanka. On this tour, a person has entered the Indian team for whom Gambhir can even give his life. He himself has given this information. Actually, Netherlands player and former KKR colleague of Gambhir, Ryan Ten Doeschate has joined the team as assistant coach.

Deshkate was told to be a selfless player

During the IPL, Gautam Gambhir praised Ryan Ten Doeschate a lot in an event of Kolkata Knight Riders. He called Deshkate the most selfless player of the team. During this, Gambhir even talked about taking a bullet on his chest for him. Seeing this quality of Deshkate, the new head coach of India was trying to convince BCCI for a long time to bring him in the coaching staff.

Talks are on between BCCI and Gambhir

Gautam Gambhir had put forward many demands before BCCI before becoming the head coach. BCCI has accepted most of those demands. However, some demands are still to be negotiated. He revealed that BCCI has fulfilled most of his demands. However, talks are still going on regarding the support staff. The number and name of the support staff will be decided properly only after the Sri Lanka tour. Let us tell you that he wants to make Morne Morkel the bowling coach of Team India.
