A horrific incident was witnessed in the famous T20 tournament Big Bash League being played in Australia when a fire broke out inside the stadium. During the match being played between Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricane, flames suddenly started rising in the famous Gaba Stadium, which created panic there. Due to this, the match had to be stopped for some time, while the spectators sitting near it were immediately removed. However, the relief was that the fire was prevented from turning into a terrible form and no major accident occurred.

Fire broke out in DJ booth, major accident averted

This incident happened during Hobart's innings in this Big Bash League match on Thursday, January 16. The fourth over of Hobart's innings was going on while chasing the target. During this time, suddenly flames started coming out from a part of the stadium. This fire started in the DJ booth built in the stadium. A small spark turned into fire in this DJ booth built to play music and make announcements in the stadium and immediately the people present there started using fire extinguishers to extinguish it.


Due to this accident, the match was immediately stopped and the spectators sitting in that section were removed from there and taken out. The fire was not very big but it took a lot of effort to extinguish it. The game was stopped for some time but the relief was that this fire could not turn into a big form and finally the fire was controlled. No person present in the stadium was harmed by this and a major accident was averted. At present, the situation is not clear as to how this fire started.
