6 countries will host the 2030 World Cup

FIFA organized a virtual congress to hand over the hosting of the Football World Cup. During this, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the hosts for 2030 and 2034. He said that not one or two but 6 countries will host the FIFA World Cup in 2030. Apart from Spain, Morocco, and Portugal, one match each has been given to South American countries Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina.

With the announcement of FIFA, it has been decided that the Football World Cup will return to Uruguay once again after 100 years. Earlier, it had hosted the Football World Cup in 1930. Football World Cup in Gulf country for the second time

The hosting of the 2034 edition of the Football World Cup has been handed over to Saudi Arabia. This will be the second time that this great sporting event will be organized in the Gulf country. Earlier, Qatar hosted the Football World Cup in 2022. It was the first country in the Arab world where the FIFA World Cup was held. After this, Saudi Arabia staked a claim for the tournament. It was trying to get the hosting of 2030 but it could not happen.

Saudi Arabia was the only country to bid to host the 2034 edition. Apart from Saudi Arabia, Australia was also in the race earlier but then Australia withdrew its name at the last moment, after which Saudi was the only contender left. Saudi Arabia spent a lot of money to get this hosting. It invited the world's most famous football player Cristiano Ronaldo to play in its country. It spent on everything from stadiums to infrastructure. During this time, it kept trying to host. Now it has been success.
