Corona may snatch the hosting of India-West Indies ODI match from Jaipur
The effect of coronavirus is now starting to affect sports as well. Due to the increasing influence of Corona, now the hosting of the ODI match between India and West Indies to be played next month can be snatched from Jaipur. Due to the corona infection, the ODI and T20 cricket series between India and West Indies have started clouding the crisis.
According to reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is considering reducing the venue of the match due to the threat of Corona.
For this reason, the hosting of the ODI match can be snatched from Jaipur. A series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches are to be played between India and West Indies from next month. The second match of the ODI series is to be played on February 9 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.
According to the news, BCCI is considering to organize these six matches against West Indies at 3 venues only. With this, players and staff will not have to be quarantined again and again and the risk of corona infection will be reduced. However, till now no official information has been received in this regard.
