Once again umpiring is under question in the Sydney Test. Earlier, the Australian camp had objected to Virat Kohli being given not out. Now a controversy has arisen over the decision to give Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar out. After this, Indian fans hooted the umpire fiercely. Fans could not digest Sundar's wicket and created a ruckus by getting angry over the controversial decision. Earlier, a similar ruckus was seen over Yashasvi Jaiswal's wicket in Melbourne.

When Team India was in a difficult situation in the first innings, Washington Sundar was desperately needed by the team but at such a time Sundar became a victim of a controversial decision. Wicketkeeper Alex Carey took Sundar's catch on the ball of Australian captain Pat Cummins. Sundar was out after scoring 14 runs in 30 balls with the help of 3 fours in this inning.

Washington Sundar was given not out by the field umpire. However, when the matter reached the TV umpire, he declared Sundar out without conclusive evidence. After this, once again questions are being raised about umpiring and technology.

Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan also seemed upset with this decision. He wrote in a post, 'There is no way out of this. This is a strange decision. Indian fans on social media also stood in support of Sundar. A user wrote, 'The noise on the snicko was due to Sundar's feet dragging near the stumps. That noise was there even before the ball came close to the stumps'.

There was a ruckus over Jaiswal's wicket in Melbourne.

Earlier, during India's second innings in the Melbourne Test, there was a ruckus over the wicket of young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal was also caught out by Alex Carey behind the wicket. The TV umpire also gave Jaiswal out without conclusive evidence. After this decision, Indian fans accused the umpire of cheating.
