After the poor performance of the Indian team, BCCI is in action mode. It has taken strict steps to recover the team from defeat and bring it back on track. Recently, the board had a meeting with Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar, Head Coach Gautam Gambhir and Captain Rohit Sharma. During this, many issues were discussed. Now the board has implemented 10 strict rules for the players. Also, it has said in clear words that if anyone violates its guidelines, then he will have to be ready for severe punishment.

You may have to suffer this punishment

There are 10 types of guidelines given in the new BCCI guidelines. If any player does not follow them and breaks the discipline, then the consequences can be very bad. The player's career can even be ruined. Even if this does not happen, then it is certain that his 2 to 3 years will be wasted. The recent example of this is Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer. The contracts of both were taken away. Kishan has been out of the team for about 14 months. Iyer also returned to the team after several months.

The board has said that if a player does not agree, it will be free to take disciplinary action against him. Under this, the Indian Board has made provisions like suspension. As a punishment, the players' match fees or contract fees can be deducted. Apart from this, his contract can also be canceled. On the other hand, if BCCI feels that the player has made a big mistake, then it can also ban him from participating in any other tournament including IPL. Obviously, if this happens, it will be difficult to get selected in the team. Even if there is a comeback, it may take a lot of time.

These are the new rules

Under the new rules of the Indian Cricket Board, it will be mandatory for every player to play domestic cricket to be selected in the team. Exemption will be given only in case of an exception and for this they will have to give a valid reason. Apart from this, it has been made mandatory for all the players to travel together all the time from match to practice session. A limit has also been set on luggage during the series. At the same time, carrying personal staff and shooting ads has also been banned during the series. The board has also made rules regarding family.
