BCCI has implemented these 10 strict rules for Team India, if not followed then they can be banned

The Indian team has been performing poorly for the last few months. First the ODI series against Sri Lanka, then the Test series against New Zealand at home, and recently it suffered a crushing defeat against Australia. Not only this, there were also reports of discord in the team during the Australia tour. Ever since the decline in the team's performance and the reports of disputes in the dressing room came to light, it was expected that the Board of Control for Cricket in India would take some strict action. Now after a review meeting, the BCCI has come up with 10 strict rules to increase unity in the team and improve the performance again. Let's know what these rules are.
The BCCI has made it mandatory to play domestic matches to be eligible for selection in the Indian team. The main objective of this guideline is that all players remain connected to the domestic cricket ecosystem. This will help maintain match fitness as well as give new players a chance to compete with the country's top cricketers. To get exemption from this, the national team players will have to inform the selection committee in advance.
2. Prohibition on traveling separately with family
BCCI has made it mandatory for all players to travel together from match to practice session. If there is any special reason, permission will have to be taken from the head coach, chairman of the selection committee to travel separately with the family.
3. Limit set on luggage
BCCI has also set a limit on the luggage of the players. If they carry luggage beyond the limit during the series, they will have to bear the expenses themselves. As per the board's guidelines, for foreign tours of more than 30 days, players can carry 5 bags (3 suitcases and 2 kit bags) or up to 150 kg of weight. The support staff can travel with 3 bags (2 big and one small suitcase) or 80 kg of weight. If the tour is of less than 30 days, 4 bags (2 suitcases and 2 kit bags) or up to 120 kg of weight will be allowed. The support staff can carry 2 bags (2 suitcases) or up to 60 kg of weight. The second rule will also be applicable during domestic series.
4. Restrictions on personal staff
From now on, no player can take his personal staff like chef, personal manager, trainer, secretary or any assistant with him during the series. For this, he will have to first take permission from the board.
5. Sending extra items to the Centre of Excellence Players will have to talk to the team management to send any personal belongings or equipment to the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. If any extra expense is incurred, they will have to pay for it themselves.
6. Prohibition on leaving practice sessions early
Taking a tough stand, the board has clearly stated that from now on players will have to stay together during the entire practice session and travel together to the venue. They cannot leave the training before time.
7. Ban on personal ad shoots
According to the new rules of BCCI, players can no longer shoot personal ads during any tour or series.
8. Rules for the family
If the team goes on a foreign tour for 45 days or more, then the wife, partner or family of any player can stay with him for only 14 days on that tour. BCCI will not bear any expenses other than their stay during this period.
