The Board of Control for Cricket in India has the most dominance in the cricket world. There is no doubt that every country wants to play against India because they earn a lot from it. This is why the Indian board is also the richest cricket board in the world. BCCI is famous for providing good facilities to its players and officials. Indian players earn more than other countries. But there is also a cricket tournament from which BCCI does not take a single penny. It gives its share of earnings to other boards.

BCCI leaves crores of rupees in this tournament

Actually, BCCI does not keep a single penny from the earnings of the Asia Cup. There is a shocking reason behind this, which was revealed by former cricketer and commentator Aakash Chopra. Aakash Chopra once made this big statement while talking about the earnings of the Asia Cup on his YouTube channel. Aakash Chopra had said, 'Let me tell you one thing that in the history of Asia Cup, ever since Asia Cup is going on, its revenue comes from broadcast, but BCCI has not taken a single penny till now. BCCI does not touch the money of ACC.'

Akash Chopra explained the reason for this and said, 'Every time BCCI gets some share, it gives it to the Asian Cricket Council so that this money can be spent in the country where cricket development is needed.' But no other country does this. Be it Sri Lanka, Pakistan, or anyone else, they all keep all their money themselves.
