4 days of play have ended in the Multan Test. England batsmen batted for 150 overs and during this time they thrashed the Pakistani bowlers. England put 823 runs on the board in the first innings. All the bowlers including Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi looked helpless. Neither pace nor swing was seen in their bowling. Naseem Shah is known for swinging the new and old ball, but nothing happened even with him. On the other hand, England bowlers troubled the Pakistani batsmen in the second innings and took 6 wickets within 100 runs. Meanwhile, serious allegations are being made against the Pakistan Cricket Board for teaching ball tampering in domestic cricket.

When Pakistan's bowlers did not get swing from the new and old bowlers, a Pakistani journalist gave a big reason behind it. He raised questions on the structure of PCB's domestic cricket and accused it of promoting ball tampering. He claimed, citing sources, that many bowlers including Naseem Shah have the habit of peeling the ball since domestic cricket, which comes under ball tampering according to ICC rules. At the same time, they are not able to do this at the international level, due to which there is a problem in reversing. According to him, this is deliberately promoted by match officials, coaching staff, and senior players, seeing which young bowlers learn ball tampering.

Pakistan's bowling looked very weak during England's first innings. All the bowlers were badly beaten. Captain Shan Masood used 7 bowlers, out of which 6 gave away more than 100 runs. Whereas 7 bowlers bowled only 2 overs. Naseem Shah gave away 157 runs in 31 overs with an economy of more than 5 and took 2 wickets. Shaheen Afridi, who is considered the leader of the Pakistani pace attack, bowled 26 overs in which he gave away 120 runs at an economy of 4.6. He got only one wicket. The condition of the team's third pacer Aamir Jamal was also bad. He took 1 wicket for 126 runs in 24 overs with an economy of 5.20.

Pakistan is also accusing the Cricket Board of making a flat pitch in Multan to avoid defeat. However, the board's decision now seems to be taking a toll on the team. The Pakistan cricket team is heading towards its most unique defeat in 147 years. In fact, captain Shan Masood won the toss and enjoyed batting a lot. 3 batsmen including the Pakistani captain scored centuries and scored a total of 556 runs in the first innings.

In response, thanks to Joe Root's 262 runs and Harry Brook's 317 runs, England scored 823 runs. They took a lead of 267 runs. This put Pakistan under pressure and they lost 6 wickets for 152 runs and are now on the verge of defeat. If Pakistan loses this match, it will be the first time that a team has lost a Test match for more than 550 runs for the first time.
