Australia has scored 383 runs in the first Test match being played against New Zealand on the basis of brilliant innings of Cameron Green (174 not out) and Josh Hazlewood (22). Cameron Green and Josh Hazlewood made a record partnership for the 10th wicket in this match.

Both of them have created history by making a partnership of 116 runs for the 10th wicket on the second day of the Wellington Test. This was the biggest partnership for Australia against the Kiwis for this wicket. Together, they have broken the record of 114-run partnership set by Jason Gillespie and Glenn McGrath for the 10th wicket against New Zealand in Brisbane in 2004.

Green-Hazelwood has made the fourth highest partnership for the 10th wicket for the Kangaroo team. The record in this matter is held in the name of Ashton Agar and Phil Hughes, who made a record partnership of 163 runs against England in Nottingham in 2013.
