Asia Cup: Siraj registered these records in ODI cricket

The Asia Cup final match played between India and Sri Lanka was in the name of fast bowler Siraj. He took six wickets for 21 runs in this match. This is the best performance of any bowler in ODI against Sri Lanka. With this, Siraj registered many big achievements in his name.

He completed 50 wickets in ODIs during the match. He has become the second bowler to take 50 wickets in the fewest number of balls in the ODI format. The record is in the name of Sri Lanka's Ajantha Mendis (847 balls). Siraj achieved this milestone in 1002 balls. Whereas Siraj bowled the best as a fast bowler for India in the ODI final.

This is the second best performance of an Indian bowler in the ODI final. Earlier, Anil Kumble had taken six wickets for 12 runs in the final of Hero in 1993. Siraj became the first Indian to take four wickets in an over of ODI cricket.
