Asia Cup: Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf achieved this big achievement in ODI cricket

After the fatal bowling of Haris Rauf (four wickets), Imam-ul-Haq (78) scored a half-century, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in the first Super-4 match of Asia Cup 2023. In this match, Haris Rauf took four wickets for just 19 runs in six overs.

He also completed his fifty wickets in ODI cricket during the match. He achieved this great feat by sending Bangladesh opener Mohammad Naeem to the pavilion on the third ball of the 8th over of the match. Rauf completed his fifty wickets in the 27th innings.

He equaled former legendary fast bowler Waqar Younis in achieving this feat in the fastest time. The record for achieving this feat fastest from Pakistan is in the name of Hasan Ali, who completed his fifty wickets in only 24 innings. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi took 50 wickets in 25 innings.
