The first match of the T20 series between India and England will be played in Kolkata on January 22. Preparations for this series are going on at Eden Gardens in Kolkata and before the match, Team India's vice-captain Akshar Patel answered a question which has become a matter of great controversy. Actually, there were reports that things are not working out between the team's support staff and the players. There is no open communication between the players and the support staff. It was even claimed that head coach Gautam Gambhir was angry with bowling coach Morne Morkel, but now Akshar Patel has put forth his truth on this issue.
Akshar Patel told the media that there is no dispute between Team India and its support staff. He said, 'The communication between the support staff is very clear. I was not with the team for the last two-and-a-half months, I do not know what happened in Australia. I am associated with the team and the support staff is also the same and the atmosphere is also good. Whatever input we need, we talk to the bowling and batting coach. Talking about T20, it moves fast and hence decisions have to be taken here as soon as possible.'

Akshar Patel has been made the vice-captain for the T20 series against England. Suryakumar Yadav is the captain of the team. The T20 series against England is starting from January 22. This series is of five matches. England's team is very strong, so India has also fielded a very strong team. Team India has won two big T20 series since the T20 World Cup. Team India has defeated both Sri Lanka and South Africa in their home.
