PAK vs SL: Sri Lanka got a big lead over Pakistan in the second test match, Ramesh Mendis took five wickets

Sri Lanka bowled out Pakistan for just 231 runs in the first innings of the second Test in Galle on the back of brilliant bowling from Ramesh Mendis (5/47) and Prabath Jayasuriya (3/80). This gave the hosts a 147-run lead on the basis of the first innings.

After being all out for 378 in the first innings, Sri Lanka scored 42 runs for the loss of one wicket in the second innings as well. This took his total lead to 189 runs. 

Now Sri Lanka would like to take a big lead in the match. He has nine wickets left in the second innings.

Pakistan started playing 7 wickets for 191 runs on the third day. Agha Salman (62), who made his debut as a Test cricketer, played a half-century for Pakistan. Imam-ul-Haq (32), Mohammad Rizwan (24), and Fawad Alam (24) could not play big innings. Off-spinners Ramesh Mendis (5/47) and Prabath Jayasuriya (3/80) bowled brilliantly for Sri Lanka.
