Ind vs Eng: India won the ODI series, and Rishabh Pant achieved these achievements
Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant (125 not out) and Hardik Pandya (four wickets and 71 runs) scored an all-around performance as India beat England by five wickets in the third and final ODI of the series. In this way, India also won the ODI series 2-1 after the T20. Playing first at Manchester's Old Trafford ground, England scored 259 runs.
In reply, Team India achieved the target of five wickets in 42.2 overs. For India, Pant scored the first century of his ODI career. He faced 113 balls in his century and hit 18 fours and two sixes. This was Pant's second century on this tour of England.
Earlier, against England, he scored a century of 146 runs in the first innings of the Birmingham Test.
Rishabh Pant became the second Indian wicketkeeper to score a century on England soil. While outside Asia, he became the third wicket-keeper batsman to achieve this feat. Earlier, Rahul Dravid and KL Rahul achieved this feat.
