Commonwealth Games 2022: India won two gold medals on the fifth day!
The 5th day of Commonwealth Games 2022 was very good for India. India won a total of four medals including two gold on Tuesday. Thus now India's medal tally in Commonwealth Games 2022 has gone up to 13.
India won gold in the women's lawn ball and men's table tennis team categories on Tuesday. Whereas in badminton, India had to be satisfied with the silver medal. India's Vikas Thakur won the silver medal in the 96 kg weightlifting category.
India defeated South Africa to win the gold medal in the lawn ball women's match. Whereas in men's table tennis, India defeated Singapore to win the gold medal. In women's singles squash, Sunaina Kuruvilla defeated a Pakistani player to reach the final.
While in the long jump, India's Anees and Sreeshankar entered the finals. Manpreet reached the final in women's shot put. Kushagra Rawat and Advait Page managed to enter the finals of the swimming 1500m freestyle event.
