Asia Cup 2022: Virat Kohli scores century in international cricket after 1020 days, India beat Afghanistan
India defeated Afghanistan by 101 runs in the Super-4 match of the Asia Cup on the basis of the lethal bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (5 for four) and the first century of Virat Kohli (122 not out). Team India had scored 212 runs in 20 overs while playing first, in response to which the Afghanistan team was bundled out for 111 runs. KL Rahul also scored 62 runs for India.
Kohli scored 122 runs in 61 balls with the help of 12 fours and six sixes. This is his first century in T20 International cricket and 71st century in international cricket. He had to wait a long time for this century.
