Various schemes are being implemented to provide benefits to the needy and economically deprived sections of the society. While the state governments are running various types of programmes, the central government is also running many beneficial and welfare schemes. In this series, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is being implemented for the welfare of farmers. Under this scheme, farmers get an amount of Rs 6,000 annually, which is distributed in three different instalments. Now the question arises regarding the release date of the 16th installment. Which farmers are eligible for the instalment?

Eligible farmers of PM Kisan Yojana will get the benefit of instalment. However, it is necessary for the farmers to complete the e-KYC on time, as the instalment will be provided only after the e-KYC process.

Additionally, farmers who have completed the land verification process are eligible for the instalment. The government has clarified that to receive the instalment, tasks like land verification will have to be completed.

Eligibility Criteria for Farmers:

Farmers whose Aadhar card is linked to their bank account.

Farmers with error-free farms.

Those farmers who are eligible for Kisan Yojana and have completed all the necessary work etc.

When can we expect the instalment?

At present, official information about the release date of the 16th instalment has not been revealed. However, according to media reports, the instalment may be released in February-March. As per the rules, the 15th instalment was released on 15 November 2023. After this timeline, as per the rules, the 16th instalment can be released in March.
