Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam was cancelled due to a paper leak. The exam was scheduled to be held on February 17 and 18, 2024, at designated centres across the state. Now, when will the exam be rescheduled? When will the exam date be announced? Candidates are eagerly waiting for it. More than 60,000 posts of constables are to be filled in the Uttar Pradesh Police Force through this recruitment examination. Let us know when the exam can be conducted.

According to media reports, it can be organized in June 2024. However, no official date for the exam has been announced yet. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board may soon release the date of the UP Police Constable Exam.

Total number of candidates who appeared for the exam:

Around 47 lakh candidates participated in the exam held on February 17 and 18 for recruitment to 60,244 constable posts. Due to a paper leak, the state government cancelled the examination on 24 February. Selection for constable posts will be done through written examination, PST, DV and PET rounds. Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be called for further selection processes.

What is the exam pattern?

The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and a total of 150 questions will be asked. Candidates will be given 2 marks for each correct answer. And 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The examination will be conducted in English and Hindi language. The exam will be conducted on an OMR sheet. Like last time, the examination can be conducted in two shifts.

In the first shift, the examination can be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and in the second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. For any information related to the examination, candidates can visit the official website of the Recruitment Board, uppbpb.gov.in.
