The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to release the notification for the UGC NET 2024 June session soon. The agency is preparing to conduct the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) Session 1 in June. As per the NTA exam calendar for the academic year 2024-25, the exam is expected to be held between June 10 and June 21. According to media reports, the registration process for the UGC NET 2024 June session exam is likely to start in April. Candidates must apply through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. After the registration process, the exam city slip and admit card will be issued to the registered candidates. However, no official announcement has been made by the National Testing Agency regarding this matter.

Who can apply?

According to the official website, candidates applying for the UGC NET exam must have a master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks from recognized universities or institutes. On the other hand, candidates from OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories must have a minimum of 50% marks in their Master's degree.

Application Fee:

In the last session, the application fee was set at Rs 1,100 for general category candidates and Rs 600 for OBC candidates. SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs 275 as an application fee. UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year, the first session in June and the second session in December.
