When will the Bihar Board matriculation results be declared, know what was the result last year!

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has started the evaluation process of intermediate board exam copies and soon the checking of matriculation copies will also start. Bihar Board matriculation exam results are expected to be declared by the end of March. In 2023, BSEB declared the results of the 10th board exam on 31st March. It is estimated that this year also the high school results can be released by April 1.

Bihar School Examination Board conducted the matriculation examination across the state from February 15 to 23, 2024. A total of 16,94,781 students appeared in the high school board examination. Bihar Board 10th examinations in 2023 were held from 14 to 22 February and a total of 17 lakh students participated. The results were declared on 31 March. According to media reports, the 10th result can be released this year also on or before March 31. After the declaration of results, students can get their mark sheets from their respective schools.

What was the passing percentage?

Last year, the pass percentage in matriculation results was recorded at 81.04. However, more than three lakh students failed in the 10th examination. Mohammad Ruman Ashraf of Shekhpura has topped the state in matriculation. He scored 489 marks out of 500, securing 97.8%.

After evaluating the Bihar Board answer sheets, verification of marks is done, after which the toppers are interviewed. Once the interviews are over, the results are declared and the list of toppers is also declared.

It is noteworthy that both class 10th and 12th toppers get cash awards and recognition from the state government. This year also the state government will honor the toppers. However, specific awards for male and female toppers have not been announced yet.
