When is Devuthani Ekadashi? Know the auspicious time and method of worship!

This year, the fast of Devuthani Ekadashi will be observed on Thursday, 23rd November. The time for breaking the fast is from 6 am to 8.13 am on 24th November. Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is called Devuthani Ekadashi. On this day, Lord Vishnu stays for four months. We wake up after the rest of the day, hence it is called Dev Uthani Ekadashi. On the day of Dev Uthani Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning, after cleaning the house and taking a bath, install the picture of Lord Vishnu on the puja post. Apply Tilak to the Lord with sandalwood, turmeric and kumkum. Light a ghee lamp and offer food. Add basil leaves to the food and also recite the fast story and perform aarti on Devuthani Ekadashi.
