WhatsApp Latest Feature: New features are being seen continuously one after the other on WhatsApp. Now a new feature is going to be added in this series, which is related to favorite contacts. Often we see that there are many such messages in the chat list, which get deleted. To talk to them again, we have to write their name and search again. 

Like every time, this time too WABetaInfo has given information about the new feature in its report. This report claims that WhatsApp is preparing to add a Favorites tab inside the Settings menu. This feature has been seen in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.7.18 update. This feature will appear between the settings option account and privacy option. When you tap on this option, a new screen will open. 

In this new screen, you will be able to add your favourite contacts together. In this way, whenever a message comes from your favourite contact, it will reach you immediately. 

Information given about other features also

Earlier in its second report, WabetaInfo while giving information about other features said that WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature, which is named Channel Update Forwarding. Till now, to forward any update in the WhatsApp channel, users had to select it and click on the forward icon from the bar menu above, which takes a lot of time, hence many users do not forward the updates in the channel. Finding a solution to this problem, WhatsApp has given a new feature. 

Currently, Android beta version 2.24.9.24 of this feature has been rolled out. This means that at present this feature has been rolled out for beta users of the Android version. This feature will be released for common users only after completing the testing.
