According to the Meteorological Department, a fresh western disturbance cyclonic circulation is expected to affect northwest India from today. The effect of this western disturbance is expected to be visible in the western Himalayan regions.

Due to its impact, widespread light to moderate rain or snowfall with thunderstorms and lightning may be seen in various areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand for four days from today. The possibility of winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour in these states of the country has also been issued by the Meteorological Department. At the same time, the rainy season may start in Rajasthan also today. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance will be seen in Rajasthan and other areas.

Strong winds may blow
Seasonal activities will be at their peak in Rajasthan on 19th April. Eastern Rajasthan may see sporadic light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and strong winds on Friday. During this period, winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour.

According to Jaipur Meteorological Centre, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Sikar, Barmer, Bharatpur, Dausa, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Sriganganagar including the capital Jaipur on Friday. The department issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and rain in various parts of Rajasthan on Friday.
