Necessary ingredients

Semolina - 1 cup

Capsicum - 1

Curd - 1/2 cup

Tomato - 1

Onion - 1

Oregano - 1/2 tsp

Oil - as needed

Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

Salt - as per taste



First of all take tomato, onion, and capsicum and chop them finely. After this, take semolina and add curd inside it and mix the mixture well and after that keep it aside for about half an hour. After the fixed time, you have to mix semolina inside it. Then add salt and black pepper powder as per taste and whisk it well.

Now take a nonstick pan/griddle and keep it on the gas on a medium flame for heating. Then put some oil on the pan and spread it all around. Now pour semolina batter from the bowl into the center of the griddle and spread it like a cheela. After this, put chopped onion, capsicum, and tomato on top of it. Let the uttapam cook for a few seconds, then turn it over and cook on the other side by applying oil. Put some chopped vegetables on this side as well. Roast the uttapam till it turns light golden. After that take it out on a plate. Similarly, prepare mixed veg uttapam from all the batter. Serve it with curd or chutney.
