Vacancy for more than 2000 posts of Assistant Surgeon, apply till this date!
There is great news for MBBS graduates! Tamil Nadu Medical Recruitment Board has invited applications for Assistant Surgeon posts. The application process for these posts will start on April 24, 2024, and the last date to apply is May 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website mrb.tn.gov.in.
The recruitment board has announced vacancies for a total of 2553 Assistant Surgeon posts. Candidates can read the official notification released by the board and apply accordingly. Applications for these posts can be submitted online only.
Who can apply?
Candidates applying for Assistant Surgeon posts must have an MBBS degree. Candidates must be registered medical practitioners under the Madras Medical Registration Act, of 1914. Candidates must have worked as House Surgeon (CRRI) for a minimum period of twelve months. Additionally, candidates must also be registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
Application Fee: The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 1000, while for SC/SCA/ST candidates it is Rs 500.

Selection Process:
According to the notification issued by the Recruitment Board, candidates will be selected for these posts through written examination and other processes. The exam pattern is provided with the notification. The exam date has not been announced yet. The board will release the exam date separately and issue admit cards to all the registered candidates.
