National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), in line with this, has taken measures to link the Aadhaar number with the demat account.

Check out the step-by-step guide on how to link an Aadhaar card with a demat account on the NSDL website.

Open the official NSDL website.

Search 'Link Aadhaar with Demat Account' on the homepage.

Click on the 'Get Started' tab on the new page.

Enter Customer ID, PAN number, Demat account number, Demat account holder name, etc.

After the verification code, click on 'Proceed'.

You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

For confirmation, the demat information will be shown on the screen. If the data shown is accurate, continue with the connection process.

Aadhaar and demat accounts will be linked once the information is successfully verified and authenticated.
