UPSC CSE 2024 notification will be released today, know the application process!

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the notification for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 on February 14. The application process will start as soon as the notification is released. As per the official exam calendar, the notification will be released tomorrow, and the application process will continue till March 5, 2024. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

As per the exam calendar released earlier by the Commission, the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam is scheduled for May 26, 2024. The main examination will be held on October 19, 2024. Candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will qualify for the main examination and those who are successful in the main examination will be called for interview.

Eligibility for UPSC CSE 2024:

Candidates applying for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 must be a graduate from any recognized university. The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 32 years. Reserved category candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

How to Apply for UPSC CSE 2024:

Visit the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

Click on the One-Time Registration (OTR) tab and register.

Proceed to fill out the online application form and enter the required details.

Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Application fee:

Based on last year's pattern, the application fee for General and OBC candidates was set at Rs 100. However, women, SC, ST and PWD candidates were exempted from the application fee. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination will be conducted in an objective manner.

It is noteworthy that last year UPSC announced 1105 vacancies for the Civil Services Examination. The Civil Services preliminary examination was held on 28 May, while the main examination was held on 15 September.
