Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has postponed the UPPSC PCS 2024 preliminary exam, which was originally scheduled for March 17, 2024. The Commission released an official notice regarding the postponement on its website uppsc.up.nic.in. According to the notice issued, the Combined State/Superior Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The new tentative date of examination is likely to be in July 2024.
The Commission has mentioned in the notice that the UPPSC PCS 2024 preliminary exam is expected to be held in July, and information regarding the specific date will be provided in due course. The Commission has not yet announced the new exam date.

It is noteworthy that the application process for the UPPSC PCS 2024 preliminary examination ran from January 1, 2024, to February 2, 2024. Applicants were allowed to make corrections in their application form till February 9, 2024. Graduation was the minimum educational qualification. Required for application. The age limit was fixed between 21 to 40 years.
The application fee for the General and OBC categories was fixed at Rs 125, while candidates from the SC and ST categories had to pay Rs 65. The selection process consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will proceed for the main examination and those who are successful in the main examination will be called for interview.
